Big Mo and The Phat Groove is a vibrant funk-soul-blues band hailing from Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. With a diverse repertoire that includes covers from legendary artists and original compositions, we bring a unique sound to every performance. The band cut their teeth in Chicago blues, and each member brings a diverse style and genre, from blues, to rock, from gospel to funk, giving the band a rich, rhythmic full sound.
